Inside the report
What a self-made millionaire thinks about that most people never do
- The four numbers Mark multiplies together to work out his income, and why he works on all four of them, not just one.
- Why millionaires invest first and spend what is left, when most people do it the other way round and wonder why there is never anything left over.
- How a student making $200 a week hired his first helper at $10 an hour, and had ten of them working for him within a year.
- The five-minutes-a-day habit from John Kehoe's Mind Power tapes that a painfully shy 16-year-old used to change what he believed about himself.
- What the rich do with their spare time while most people are being entertained in front of the TV.
- Why Mark keeps going when he is in the zone, even when he had planned to stop after an hour.
The story in the report
Ten hours of pizza deliveries, or one banner on a website
In 1999 Mark was a university student delivering pizzas for $5 an hour, and his squash partner Charlie was getting $50 cheques in the mail for little more than a banner advert on his website.
Mark asked if he could try the same thing, and soon had several websites earning $50 a month each, which was enough to hand back his pizza delivery uniform for good.
Over the next few years he sold everything from language courses to plasma TVs online, and taught his father to do the same so he could leave a high-stress corporate job of 32 years.
Mark puts it down to something that happened a few years earlier, when a shy 16-year-old was handed John Kehoe's Mind Power tapes and chose a sentence to say out loud every day:
Send me the free report“I am extremely self confident and I love taking risks.” Now that was about as far from the truth as it could be in terms of who I was at that time.
